SmartAdvocate Integration Setup

Send acknowledged cases directly to SmartAdvocate

While available, inconsistencies have been reported with the SmartAdvocate Integration and it should be tested before adoption. If you have requested the integration, we will keep you posted as we get more clarity and implement a fix.

Prerequisites

To configure you'll need your Instance Base URL, Username, and Password.

Lastly, you'll need to request access to the integration via the integration page in settings.

Setup

  1. Navigate to the Integrations tab in Settings and click "Manage" on SmartAdvocate (you'll need to request access if you have not already done so)
  2. Click the toggle on "Enable SmartAdvocate Integration" to access the rest of the fields
  3. Specify the API Credentials and click "Save".
  4. Click "Test Connection" to ensure it works properly to the endpoint
  5. Specify a default case type and specific case types from your SmartAdvocate system for the corresponding type in Case Xchange. Click "Refresh from SmartAdvocate" if you create additional case types. 
  6. Set "Auto-Send New Referrals" if you'd like the case to sync into SmartAdvocate immediately when acknowledged in Case Xchange. Otherwise you'll need to click "Send to SmartAdvocate" on the case page.
  7. Be sure to click Save at the bottom of the page to ensure your settings persist!
