Below is a general list of features generally available prior to February 2026 when we began recording formal product updates in this help center
Major Core Features
1. Sending Cases & Receiving Referrals
The core of Case Xchange, a seamless ability to send, receive, and track your referrals at scale, including:
- Receiving cases with customized email notification via notifications in settings
- List views to easily see the status of your sent cases and to easily update received cases
- Send a case multiple times to allow an additional firm to view it after being rejected by a first firm
- View for status updates to track the progress of a referral over time
- Ability to add documents to a referral for both sides to view
2. Analytics & Export Capabilities
Easily view and update your referrals at scale:
- Separate views for sent and received referrals in analytics with a number of charts to view data at scale
- Filter analytics to review cases over a specific point of time
- Receive all details about sent and received cases in an easy to read Excel export
3. Private Network Visibility
See all firms in your existing network and manage the relationship:
- For firms only receiving, easily view and manage existing relationships that you receive cases from
- Send cases back to any of the firms with one click directly from the private network page
4. Custom User Management and Settings
Control how your users access the site
- Access to add as many users as needed at no extra change
- Two levels of user access: firm admins with complete control, members with capability to only send/receive cases
- Update firm profile from settings to change how your firm displays to other firms
Upgraded Features
1. Creating a Private Network via BYON
Bring Your Own Network (BYON) to control the terms you send referrals on
- Establish relationships directly with your partners to allow them to receive and send cases
- View all existing relationships from private networks tab where you can filter by specific states and jurisdictions
- Add firms not yet on Case Xchange directly from relationship management to allow them to claim their profiles without need for system admin intervention
2. Routing Rules for Sent Cases
Create clear rules so your team knows where to send each case
- Organize rules by tier (severity), case type, and jurisdiction.
- Easily determine the proper firm for a case based on those inputs
- Assigning multiple firms to the same rules allots an even distribution of cases among those firms
- Upload rules in bulk to quickly create new rules and edit existing ones
3. Direct Connection to Case Dredger
Utilize Case Dredger to assess your existing cases
- Login securely and safely to our partner app in Case Dredger
- The app will allow review of existing cases to determine if another case type may also be relevant for the description
- Refers any found cases directly through the Case Xchange App
Integrations
1. Case Status
Connect your cases to Case Status so when it gets updated in Case Status, the update translates to a status update in Case Xchange. It will also automatically link cases based on phone number and name/email.

2. Salesforce/Litify
Easily receive and send cases in Salesforce with specific tips for implementation on Litify. Custom configuration also supported for any implementation of Salesforce.

3. Zapier
Use out of the box built Zaps to connect Case Xchange with any system you would need. Highly customizable depending on your use case and can connect with any of Zapier's thousands of connections.

4. Lead Docket
Use a simple push to Lead Docket that will create a lead whenever a case is acknowledged in Case Xchange. Can also push any lead via a manual trigger.

5. DearLegal
Complete integration that will bring referrals into the referrals section in DearLegal via an easy out of the box connection.
